Liverpool youngster Liam Coyle has signed a new deal at the club. The youngster’s new contract details haven’t been disclosed but his new deal continues Liverpool’s commitment to their academy.

The Reds are emphasising there is a pathway to the first team.

Another 20-Year-Old Signs New Contract

Liverpool announced via their website youngster Coyle has signed a new contract with the club.

The 20-year-old is the latest academy product to commit his future to Liverpool. While the details haven’t been confirmed, Coyle’s new deal emphasises Liverpool’s commitment to young players.

He has been with the Reds since the age of 10. Known for his hard tackling and battling performances, the central midfield has impressed at each level and has captained the team on several occasions.

He is comfortable sitting in front of the back four and breaking down play. Coyle also enjoys starting counter attacks and getting forward on occasion.

The youngster is a boyhood Liverpool fan who has already caught the eye of the Northern Ireland set-up. He has earned several call ups but injuries have limited appearances for club and country in recent times.

Coyle made his debut for the Liverpool Under 18s at the age of 15 and has been a regular in the Under 23s.

Coyle’s new deal continues Liverpool commitment to their academy. They are showing there is a route to the first team.

Many Liverpool youngsters would off seen the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold break into the team. Neco Williams became the latest youngster to make their Premier League debut. Williams featured in last night’s excellent win over Crystal Palace.

Klopp will continue to utilise the academy players with many others expected to be given an opportunity before the season finishes.

A clear commitment to the academy has been made by Liverpool. Liam Coyle will hope to be the next youngster to make the breakthrough.
