Bundesliga Predictions
1.FSV Mainz and Werder Bremen Meet in a Crucial Encounter
Werder Bremen travel to Mainz knowing they must win to keep their survival hopes alive. They currently trail Mainz by six points with two games to go. However, Mainz’s poor goal difference still makes Achim Beierlorzer’s side vulnerable and therefore, catchable for Bremen.
Mainz are fresh off a sensational win at Signal Iduna Park and victory this weekend will secure their Bundesliga status. They were outstanding at Dortmund but are struggling to find their feet at home. Mainz have won just four of their seventeen home games and while they hold a huge advantage over Bremen, they will have to find some form at home.
Bremen have done their best week away from home in recent weeks. Florian Kohfeldt’s side are hunting a fourth consecutive away win. The likes of Milot Raschia, Davy Klaassen and Yuya Osako will have to put in another sensational display.
If Bremen fail to win and Fortuna Dusseldorf beat FC Augsburg, then Bremen’s time in Bundesliga will come to an end. Mainz theoretically know a point is enough to ensure survival but will target three as they look to build on their stunning midweek win.
This is a game with plenty at stake for both sides.
FC Augsburg Need Just One Point to Ensure Bundesliga Survival
FC Augsburg head to Fortuna Dusseldorf knowing if they avoid defeat, they will remain a Bundesliga side. Heiko Herrlich’s team have stuttered towards the safety but know they can put Dusseldorf in real trouble with a positive result.
This is simply must-win for Uwe Rosler’s side if they are to avoid relegation and the potential play-off tie. They head into this weekend five points adrift of Mainz and win is imperative for their chances of staying up.
Dusseldorf should have some confidence having fought back from two goals down to take a point at RB Leipzig on Wednesday evening. With Dusseldorf’s main rivals Bremen facing a relegation rival, Uwe Rosler knows his side can exploit FC Augsburg’s inconsistencies.
Whatever happens, it is going to be a nervy weekend with four of the bottom six facing each other.

Schalke vs Wolfsburg
Schalke’s form is rotten to the core. David Wagner’s side are winless fourteen games and a win is proving elusive. Wolfsburg must win their final two games to ensure a Europa League place for next season. They are winless in two.
