Bundesliga Predictions
Bayern Munich One Win Away From the Title
Bayern Munich travel to struggling Werder Bremen knowing victory will secure the Bundesliga title once again. Hansi Flick’s side head to Bremen full of confidence and in rampant form.
Bremen desperately need the points to pull out of the relegation zone. But they are fresh off an excellent win against Paderborn.
Bayern Munich have won their last ten league games scoring goals for fun. Arguably their most recent game against Borussia Monchengladbach was their most vital win. On a night they were not at their best, Bayern showed their experience to prevail to inch a step closer to the title.
They have Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller back from suspension to add further concern for Bremen.
Bremen head into this full of confidence after putting five past SC Paderborn 07. However, their home form has been rotten in recent weeks having lost their two without scoring. Florian Kohfeldt knows a win here could be vital with their relegation rivals also facing top-four opposition.
Köln Travel To Bayer Leverkusen In The Latest Rhineland Derby
Out of form Köln head to rivals Bayer Leverkusen hoping to complete the league double. Markus Gisdol’s side have stuttered since the Bundesliga restart and are finding wins elusive.
Köln are not necessarily safe despite holding a seven-point gap between themselves and the relegation zone. A league double over their rivals will ensure their Bundesliga place for next season. Jhon Cordoba will be vital for Koln’s chances of success.
Bayer Leverkusen head into this needing a vital win to maintain the final Champions League spot ahead of Borussia Monchengladbach. Leverkusen notched a point at FC Schalke 04 on Sunday and manager Peter Bosz will be hoping his team can build on that.
However, their home form has been disappointing since the season resumed, losing both matches conceding eight goals. Köln will look to exploit that as they look to end their six-match winless streak.
Bosz will hope to welcome back Leon Bailey who missed Sunday’s draw due to the birth of his child. Kai Havertz will once again be the man Leverkusen look to as they target revenge in the derby.
