Bundesliga Predictions
The Bottom Two Meet as Paderborn Welcome Werder Bremen
The basement two in the Bundesliga meet as Paderborn host Werder Bremen knowing anything but a win could see their short stay in the Bundesliga come to an end.
Paderborn sit bottom of the table five points adrift of nearest rivals Bremen. Steffen Baumgart’s side could be relegated this weekend if they lose to Bremen and Fortuna Dusseldorf beat Borussia Dortmund. Paderborn desperately need a win to keep their hopes alive but are winless in eleven Bundesliga games.
It is simply must-win for Werder Bremen as Florian Kohfeldt’s side target a third straight away win. However, they head into this crucial clash on the back of consecutive home defeats to Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg. Bremen will be relying on their talisman Milot Rashica to help them to victory.
A Game With Repercussions At Both Ends Of The Table As Borussia Dortmund Take On Fortuna Dusseldorf
Borussia Dortmund travel to Dusseldorf knowing anything less than a win will end their faint title hopes. Lucien Favre’s side must win to keep the pressure on Bayern Munich. However, defeat to Dusseldorf and victory for Bayern Munich will hand Hansi Flick’s team the Bundesliga title.
Dortmund take on a Dusseldorf side who have lost just twice since Uwe Rosler took over as manager. Victory for them will take them another step closer to safety. In addition, they could also relegate Paderborn with a victory if the basement side lose to Werder Bremen.
Dortmund are in decent form winning four of their last five and winning their last two since losing the Klassiker. Victory will keep their title hopes alive for another week, but it will certainly ensure Dortmund’s Champions League place for next season.
A game of huge significance at both ends of the table with potential repercussions for the loser of the game.
