Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is the latest star in football to offer free housing to NHS staff who are fighting the battle against the coronavirus outbreak, according to Jack Rosser of the Evening Standard.

Latest Star in Football to Offer Act of Kindness
The Ivorian international is the latest star in football to offer their help to those in need as the country battles against the outbreak of Covid-19.
Zaha already donates 10% of his monthly earnings to charity, which is mother ensures happens. His £130,000 weekly salary is donated to charities in both England and his native Ivory Coast.
The 27-year-old joins both Roman Abramovich and former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville in offering free accommodation to NHS staff. Abramovich has paid for NHS staff to stay at Stamford Bridge’s Millennium Hotel.
Gary Neville has also done the same at his chain of hotels in Manchester. Speaking to the BBC about his offer, he said: “It is something we are delighted to have been able to come to an agreement with.
“It is at this moment in time that the whole of our industry needs to show solidarity, not just for our staff in these uncertain times, but for the people who need the accommodation most in the coming months.”
Furthermore, after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the closure of all schools until further notice, Marcus Rashford is aiming to ensure that those who receive free school meals are still fed. The Manchester United striker is asking people to donate to charity ‘FareShare’ in a bid to cure this issue.
Football is currently suspended till April 30 at least amidst the Covid-19 crisis. There is yet to be a resolution as to how the remainder of the 2019/20 season will be played out.
