Green Loaned In
Winger Green joined Barnsley in the summer on a two-and-a-half-year deal from Yeovil Town. However, he has found game time hard to come by in the Championship.
He has also featured for County before, having a loan spell in South Wales while on the books at Bournemouth.
On his move, Green told the club website: “I am delighted to sign. This opportunity will give me a great chance for regular football and hopefully help push the club up the table.
“I’d describe myself as a tricky winger, I like to use my speed and control to beat players and get the ball forwards. I can’t wait to get going.”
Ashley Baker Signs Permanently
Baker arrives for an undisclosed fee. He has signed a deal until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Speaking to the Newport website about his move, Baker said: “As soon as I found out there was interest, it was a no brainer for me to come back home to Wales and accept this great opportunity.
“I enjoyed my time at Sheffield Wednesday, but it was time for me to move on and as soon as I heard the interest from the Gaffer, I was straight on to my agent trying to get the deal sorted straight away.
“I’d like to say I am hard-working and love to get up and down the pitch. I can’t wait to get going.”
