According to Harry Pratt of the Daily Star, the owners of Paris Saint-Germain are ready to purchase a stake in Championship club Leeds United.

Minor Investment at First
It is thought that the Qatari Sports Investment group will at first invest around £10 million into the club. However, this minor stake would then allow them to be first in the queue to purchase the club outright for £120 million, should Leeds United be promoted to the Premier League.
The report suggests that current Leeds United owner, Andrea Radrizzani, is keen to sell the club. However, Qatari Sports Investment, as well as other investors, do not want to pay the £80 million Radrizzani wants.
QSI do believe, however, the £120 million price-tag on Leeds United if they are promoted to the Premier League would be worthwhile paying. As a result, they are keen to secure a minority stake, which would then allow them to take over the club outright.
Currently, Leeds do stand in good stead to return to the Premier League. They occupy second place – the second of two automatic promotion spots – and lie eight points ahead of Fulham in third.
What Will the Investment From the Paris Saint-Germain Owners Mean for Leeds United?
The investment from the Paris Saint-Germain owners will help Leeds United not only in terms of transfers but also growing their global brand even further.
Marcelo Bielsa is reportedly keen to make new additions in the short-term, with the January window on the horizon. This will help them mount their promotion push and prepare them for the final hurdle. However, should they make a return to the top-flight, and with the investment from QSI, Leeds will become an attractive proposition to a number of players.
As well in the transfer market, it will also help grow the club. Leeds already have a global fanbase, but with the investment from the PSG owners, it will take the club to new corners of the globe.
