According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have offered highly-rated youngster Mason Greenwood a new contract.

The 17-year-old has seen praise from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a number of times already this season. Before the season began the Manchester United manager confirmed that Greenwood will see an increased amounts of minutes this season, saying: “Yes, 100 per cent. For me, he’ll definite get more game time.”
As a result, Manchester United are keen to tie the youngster down to a deal. It is suggested that they are willing to offer him a five-year deal, seeing him remain at Old Trafford until 2024.
So Far This Season
Due to his age, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still easing the youngster into the Manchester United first team.
As a result, he is as only seen one start so far this season, which came in their narrow 1-0 victory of FC Astana in the Europa League. However, he impressed, and scored his first senior Manchester United goal.
Mason Greenwood could see more first team minutes this season should Manchester United’s injury crisis continue. Both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are currently sidelined through injury at Old Trafford. As a result, Greenwood see increased playing time due to their injuries.
