Transfer Rumours: Liverpool, Watford And Newcastle United

Transfer Rumours – Liverpool

According to CalcioMercato in Italy, Liverpool are tracking Dutch striker Donyell Malen.

The 20-year-old broke into the PSV side last season. He made 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring ten goals. However, he has been the star man for the Dutch side this season, registering seven goals in six games.

Liverpool would have to pay a substantial fee for the Malen. He is contracted until 2024 with PSV, and if he continues his fine form, then he would command a tall figure.

Watford Ready to Beat Hull City to Swedish Youngster

Duncan Wright of The Sun writes that Watford are ready to beat Championship side Hull City to the signing of Swedish youngster Kevin Harletun.

The 19-year-old currently plays for Swedish club Malmo. However, he is yet to make his senior first-team debut for the club. As a result, come the expiry of his contract in November, he is looking to move abroad for new opportunities.

Harletun has been training with Hull City for the past three weeks and the better prospect of first-team opportunities could persuade him to move to the Championship club. However, Watford are keen to offer the striker a deal to move to Vicarage Road.

Newcastle United Turning to MLS Once Again?

Newcastle club-record signing Miguel Almiron joined the northeast side in January. Now, according to Lee Ryder of the Newcastle Chronicle, the Magpies are interested in his former team-mate.

Atlanta United striker Josef Martinez is attracting interest from a number of clubs, including Newcastle. The 26-year-old has been in electric form this season, scoring 26 goals in 27 games. He has continued his form from the 2018/19 season, where he registered 31 goals in all competitions.
