Welcome to the latest in Last Word On Football’s previews of the Premier League fixtures. The latest round of fixtures presents the first North London derby of the season, as well as other intriguing fixtures. Here is your Premier League preview of Matchweek four.

Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur
A game that neither side wants to lose. The first North London derby of the season takes place at The Emirates this weekend, and both sides enter the game in contrasting form.
Despite their defeat to Liverpool in Matchweek three, there is still positivity surrounding Arsenal. The summer arrivals are slowly being embed and have looked impressive, youngsters Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson have been handed more game time and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still scoring goals.
However, the same can not be said for Tottenham Hotspur. Following their surprising defeat to Newcastle last time out, Mauricio Pochettino hinted that he has an unhappy squad, saying to The Guardian: “The group is still unsettled and we need to find solutions.”
Manchester City v Brighton & Hove Albion
Manchester City will be hoping to secure their first home win of the season this weekend. They face Brighton & Hove Albion in a game expected to be dominated by the home side.
Of course, Pep Guardiola’s side are still unbeaten in the Premier League. However, they are still cursing VAR for costing them three points over Tottenham in their second game of the season. As a result, they are now two points behind title rivals Liverpool.
Meanwhile Brighton have failed to capitalise on their impressive opening day victory away to Watford. A draw with West Ham was followed by a disappointing defeat to Southampton. The Seagulls will be hoping to head into the international break with a win, but they may find it tough against a strong Manchester City.

Southampton v Manchester United
Manchester United will be hoping to avenge their defeat to Crystal Palace by taking three points from Southampton. However, the Saints are filled with confidence after picking up their first win of the season, and will be a tougher task than expected for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Chelsea v Sheffield United
Chelsea will be looking to build on last weekends first win of the season over Norwich. Frank Lampard won one and lost one against Sheffield United last season with Derby County last season. However, his Chelsea side will prove to strong for the newly promoted side.

Crystal Palace v Aston Villa
Both sides saw their first wins of the season in Matchweek three. Crystal Palace are historically dreadful at home, and as a result the Villains will be hoping to take advantage of this.

Leicester v Bournemouth
Leicester City are yet to be beaten so far this season, with two draws and one win. Bournemouth suffered their first defeat of the season last weekend and will be looking to bounce back. However, the foxes should prove to strong.

Manchester City v Brighton & Hove Albion
This game should be fairly straightforward for the home side. Graham Potter will be hoping that his side can hold out for as long as possible, but City will always find a way to break a team’s defence.

Newcastle United v Watford
Newcastle will be filled with confidence following their surprising 1-0 victory away to Tottenham. Watford won’t be an easy game, but the Hornets have been leaking goals and as a result, Steve Bruce should claim back-to-back victories.

West Ham United v Norwich City
Norwich have shown that they will not be an easy tie for any side. They have been praised so far for their attacking football this season. West Ham will be hoping to preserve the Canaries at the London Stadium, but will the Hammers find the back of the net?

Burnley v Liverpool
Liverpool have won three games out of three in the Premier League this season. The Reds will be hoping to make it four in a row and continue their good form. However, Burnley could cause an upset at Turf Moor on Saturday evening.

Everton v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Both of these sides have had similar starts, although Wolves are yet to win in the Premier League this season. Another European fixture could spell defeat for Wolves at Goodison Park on Sunday

Arsenal v Tottenham
A traditional North London derby should be the tale of the story at The Emirates. Neither side will want to lose, and a score draw could be the result come full-time.
