Transfer Rumours From Around Europe
Real Madrid
Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid has come under much scrutiny this summer. It is clear that is not favoured by manager Zinedine Zidane, and now it seems that a move may be close.
Zidane confirmed after their defeat to Bayern Munich in pre-season that they are working on a deal to sell the Welshman, saying: “We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.”
Bale made 36 appearances last season, scoring 11 goals.
Paris Saint-Germain to Return For Idrissa Gueye?
According to Neil Fissler of the Daily Express, Paris Saint-Germain are set to return to the transfer market for Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
The Senegalese international made 35 appearances for the Toffees last season. Operating as a defensive midfielder, he made an average of 4.3 tackles per game in the Premier League.
The French champions have been long-term admirers of the 29-year-old. They showed previous interest during the 2019 January transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur Facing Competition For Ryan Sessegnon?
Neil Fissler of the Daily Express also claims that Tottenham Hotspur are facing competition for Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon from Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund. However, the North London club remain Sessegnon’s preferred option.
The 19-year-old is a product of Fulham‘s academy and made his debut when he was 16-years-old. Last season, he scored two goals as Fulham were relegated from the Premier League.
Tottenham see Sessegnon as a capable replacement for Danny Rose, who is set to leave the club. Rose was not included in Tottenham’s squad for their pre-season tour amid interest from a number of clubs.
