Welcome back to Transfer Round-Up, bringing you all of the latest done deals from across world football. Today we look at Paris Saint-Germain’s Premier League signing and the return of a Sheffield United legend to Bramall Lane.

PSG Complete Ander Herrera Deal

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera. The Spaniard, 29, signs with the Paris club on a five-year deal, taking him through to 2024.

Herrera made 189 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 20 goals and providing 27 assists having joined United in 2014.

 

Phil Jagielka Returns to the Lane

Twelve years to the day after leaving Sheffield United for Everton, former England defender Phil Jagielka is back at Bramall Lane after signing on a free transfer.

Jagielka was part of the Blades squad that was relegated from the Premier League in 2006/07, but has since gone on to have an excellent career with the Toffees and was once a key part of England’s national team set-up.

The 36-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Chris Wilder’s side as they prepare for their return to the top flight. He becomes their second signing of the window after they broke their transfer record to sign Queens Park Rangers midfielder Luke Freeman.

 

Mejias Re-Signs For Middlesbrough

Championship side Middlesbrough have re-signed former goalkeeper Tomas Mejias on a free transfer from Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia.

Mejias made 17 appearances as Boro’s back-up keeper between 2014 and 2018 and is fondly remembered for saving a Wayne Rooney penalty at Old Trafford in the League Cup.

The 30-year-old has signed a two-year deal on Teesside.

 

Colchester United Transfer Round-Up

Colchester United have signed both Jevani Brown and Paris Cowan-Hall.

Brown joins on an undisclosed fee from League Two rivals Cambridge United, while Cowan-Hall brings to an end his second spell at Wycombe Wanderers to sign for the U’s on a free transfer.

Both players have signed two-year contracts with the club.

 

Scunthorpe Bring In Ntlhe

Scunthorpe United have signed South African defender Kgosi Ntlhe on a one-year deal following his departure from Rochdale.

The 25-year-old, a former scholar at Peterborough United, made a total of 52 appearances with Dale and scored on three occasions.
