MK Dons have completed the signing of Crewe Alexandra striker Jordan Bowery. The 27-year-old rejected a new contract with the Cheshire club and moves to Stadium MK on a free transfer. He is Paul Tisdale’s fourth signing of the summer after Hiram Boateng, Brennan Dickenson and Joe Mason.

Career So Far
Bowery began his career with Chesterfield after coming through the academy at the Spirites. His impressive performances with the Derbyshire side earned him a move to Premier League club Aston Villa, but he failed to really break through with the Villains.
The forward, who can play anywhere across the front line, joined Rotherham United at the start of the 2014/15 season and spent two years there, totalling 44 appearances. He was briefly loaned to Bradford City during his stint with the Millers.
Bowery then had permanent spells with Oxford United and Leyton Orient before joining Crewe on loan. After Orient’s relegation from League Two, Bowery exercised the relegation release clause in his contract to join Crewe permanently.

Speaking to the MK Dons website, Bowery said: “I’m delighted to be here, it’s a big club with big ambitions.
“This is a place where I can see myself fitting in, it’s a really exciting time. I like the way the manager plays and the facilities here are so impressive.
“The style of football Tis plays is good to watch and it’ll be good for me to play in his team. He came and showed me the stats and how the team plays, it was really exciting as I’ve never witnessed that before.
“It’s a really good stadium, it’s up there with one of the best grounds in the country – you couldn’t ask for a better place to work.”
