Chelsea Look to Sign Napoli’s Koulibally
After an underwhelming season for the Blues, they will look to spend big this summer in an attempt to challenge for the title next season. Chelsea struggled at the back last season and will look to bolster their defence with the addition of Koulibally.
After an impressive World Cup campaign so far, Kouilablly is set to come with a hefty price tag of close to €100 million. However, the centre-back confirmed that his main attention is currently focused on the World Cup with Senegal and will not let his club future distract him.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic Wanted All Across Europe
After his breakout season at Lazio, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has had offers from some of the biggest clubs in world football. The Serbian had an underwhelming world cup as Serbia have been eliminated in the group stages.
Current frontrunners, Manchester United, have now got more competition as Spanish giants, Barcelona show interest in the midfielder as well. The player is yet to speak out about his future as his attention has been primarily focused on Serbia’s world cup campaign.
It is reported that Milinkovic-Savic will come with a price tag of well over €100 million.
Buffon’s Fairytale at Juventus May Come to an End
After 17 years with Juventus, Buffon may be set for a new challenge. At the age of 38, the goalkeeper has continued to exceed expectations and impress the entire footballing world. Unfortunately, Buffon failed to complete his trophy cabinet, after Juventus were eliminated from last season’s UEFA Champions League. The goalkeeper has reportedly got an interest from French team, Paris Saint Germain and will be happy to sign Buffon on a free transfer this summer.
Reports say that Buffon has already ‘verbally’ agreed a deal however a formal agreement is yet to be made. It is understood that Buffon will play back up to PSG’s Kevin Trapp.
Thomas Lemar to Sign for Atletico Madrid
Monaco winger, Thomas Lemar was one of the star players in their title-winning season. However, since then, he has failed to play that level. Lemar is part of the France national team but has received minimal playing time.
Europa League champions, Atletico Madrid, are supposedly very close to completing a deal for the winger. Lemar was wanted by Liverpool last season however a series of rejected offers showed Monaco were reluctant to lose him. A deal with Atletico is set to be completed in the coming week.
