Week 7 NFL Player Props, Odds, Picks
Lamar Jackson Over 216.5 Passing Yards (-114 or better)
The Lions are the darlings of the 2023 season thus far, but we remain bullish on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens nonetheless. Even if the Ravens ultimately fall at home – oddsmakers like them as 3-point home favorites – it won’t be because of Jackson, who has surpassed 216.5 passing yards in two of his last three and three of his last five. A fully operational pass-catching corps is another factor in our siding with the Over.
Bijan Robinson Over 83.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115 or better)
It’s time for the Falcons to feature their most dynamic offensive player. He’s averaging 5.0 yards per carry and proving himself to be dangerous as a receiver as well. Atlanta dropped three of its last four contests but remains very much in the mix for the NFC South lead. They won’t get there without more from their rookie runner. It’s worth taking a look at D’Andre Swift’s work against the Bucs in Week 3. Robinson possesses similar ability as an offensive weapon, he just needs a bit more volume, something that is reasonable to anticipate.
Najee Harris Over 51.5 Rushing Yards (-115 or better)
We’re not going to sugarcoat it, Harris is not having a great season through six games. The Steelers are 3-2 in spite of a much-maligned offense, but they’re coming out of their bye, a break that prompted significantly improved play in 2022. We’re banking on a similar trend this time around, and that includes improved production from Harris, who elevated his yards per carry from 3.3 to 4.1 after last season’s bye. He reached 4.3 yards per carry or better in three of five contests this season, so it’s not a stretch to anticipate 52 yards on the ground with respectable rushing volume.
Davante Adams Over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-120 or better)
“The squeaky wheel gets the grease”. That squeaky wheel in this case is Adams and the grease is a steady flow of targets. Adams voiced frustration over a lack of targets after seeing a total of nine across the last two weeks. This came after 33 targets were tossed in his direction across the preceding two contests. Regardless of who takes snaps under center – Brian Hoyer is set to start if Jimmy Garoppolo misses Sunday’s contest – bettors can expect Adams to be featured in the passing game to a degree that produces at least 69 receiving yards.
Christian Watson Under 53.5 Receiving Yards (-114 or better)
The Broncos are viewed as one of the worst defensive units in the game right now, but we’re not betting on that translating to a big performance from Watson. The primary reason is the presence of top corner Patrick Surtain II. Watson wouldn’t be the first No. 1 wide receiver to struggle opposite Surtain. Davante Adams was held to a modest 66 yards on six receptions in Week 1. The Jets’ Garrett Wilson struggled as well. Watson is in store for some big weeks this season, but he’ll have a difficult time this Sunday.
