NBA Monday Night Player Props
Tyrese Haliburton Over 33.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists
Haliburton is scoring at a high clip in three contests since returning from a two-game absence (28 PPG). He’s averaging 11.7 assists over that span and 11 dimes per game on the season. The Heat are stingy defensively, but Haliburton should be able to take a sizable chunk out of the prop total via points and assists alone. And while he’s been quiet on the boards of late, he averages 4.3 rebounds overall, and should be able to chip in enough to clip the Over.
Tyler Herro Over 2.5 Three-Pointers
Herro is shooting at a 48.8 percent clip on 8.2 attempts from beyond the arc over his last five. We’re not suggesting that’s sustainable over the long-term, but he’s clearly locked in right now. Herro is the co-usage leader on the Heat alongside Bam Adebayo, so we expect his volume to remain plentiful. Finally, the Heat are favored on the road, so it’s reasonable to bet on the odds of Herro delivering a quality performance.
Anthony Edwards Over 1.5 Steals
Edwards is enjoying a career season that includes 1.9 steals per game. It’s his recent pilfery that really stands out though. He has 24 steals across his last six games, including two games of six swipes and another with five. With such a heightened sense for the ball of late, it’s reasonable to bet the Over against a Blazers team that ranks 22nd in turnover percentage.
Jayson Tatum Under 29.5 Points
Tatum will want to flush the memory of Saturday’s rough outing against the Warriors. Odds are he will bounce back, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll score 30 points in the process. He “only” hit the mark twice over his last seven and is averaging 28.7 over that span. The Clippers, for their part, allow the fourth fewest points per game and own the sixth best defensive efficiency rating. Further, neither Kawhi Leonard nor Paul George is on the injury report, so expect Tatum to have to work a little harder for everything he earns.
