Kings vs. Jazz Player Props & Same Game Parlay
Lauri Markkanen Over 25.5 Points
Markkanen continues to score at a high clip, averaging 30.8 points across his last six games. His shot volume will likely see a modest boost with Collin Sexton set to miss tonight’s contest.
The Kings play with a fast pace, but they’re not great defensively. Markkanen shoots it better at home on the season, and he’s a solid bet to reach 26 points, a mark he’s met in five of his last six.
Domantas Sabonis Over 34.5 Points + Rebounds
Sportsbooks list this game with a 242.5 total, so we’re expecting an uptempo, high-scoring game. Remember to check the top NBA betting sites for the most up-to-date odds and lines. The Kings feature one of the game’s top offenses while the Jazz are poor defensively.
Sabonis, in particular, is scoring incredibly efficiently – 67.4% over his last 10 – and has even extended his shot selection into three-point range in more recent starts. It won’t be a surprise to see him flirt with a scoring total in the mid-20s. He’s really cleaning up the glass as well, averaging 14.9 boards over the same span, including a trio of 20-plus-rebound outings.
SGP: Lauri Markkanen 3+ Threes | Jordan Clarkson 2+ Threes (FanDuel, -107)
It’s strength versus strength in this spot. Sacramento defends the three well, both in terms of limiting volume and efficiency. Markkanen and Clarkson, meanwhile, are tasked with carrying the bulk of Utah’s scoring load.
Both Markkanen and Clarkson do heavy lifting from beyond the arc, but their individual odds aren’t particularly appealing from a betting perspective. Markkanen only attempted 14 threes over the last two games, but that’s a number that should rise – he attempted 45 in the four games prior. He’s shooting at a 45.8% clip from three-point land over his last six and 42.3% overall.
Clarkson only attempted two three-pointers in Friday’s loss at the Kings. He’s averaging 7.9 attempts and shooting 39.7% from distance over his last 10 though. The Jazz are 3-point home favorites, and a win will likely include strong shooting performances from their top two scorers.
