Top NBA Player Prop Bets for Friday’s NBA Schedule

Anthony Davis Over 37.5 Points + Rebounds

Davis is on quite a heater. He’s averaging 35.3 points and 15.6 rebounds over his last nine games. (Not including Tuesday’s contest in which he played eight minutes.)

The Lakers are 7-2 over that span, so they’ll likely continue putting the rock in their big man’s hands. He should be able to shake off some rust and do enough scoring and rebounding to hit the Over.

Joel Embiid Over 3.5 Assists

Embiid is averaging 4.9 assists per game on the season and six over his last four contests. James Harden returned to the court in Monday’s loss to Houston. Even though his presence relieves Embiid of some ball-handling and usage, he provides a capable scorer that can exploit the Lakers’ mediocre defense.

Embiid is averaging 31.9 points on the season, so he’s a load offensively. The Lakers may not want to leave Davis on an island with him too often. If they send double teams throughout the game, Embiid will be able to pick out open shooters and notch four dimes.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 46.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Antetokounmpo is on a dominant run of late, averaging 32.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 5.7 assists over his last 11 games. He’s actually in the midst of another dominant season, sitting in a three-man race for the 2022-23 NBA MVP.

While Giannis struggled mightily from the free-throw line over the early portion of the aforementioned stretch, he’s shooting a respectable 76.5 percent from the charity stripe on 11 attempts over his last six.

The Over here should be attainable thanks to his hyper-efficiency from two-point range, improved free-throw shooting of late, and overall ability to collect boards and dish out assists.

Luka Doncic Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made

The stage will be set for Doncic to put on a show and elevate his place in the current three-way battle for NBA MVP honors. Doncic’s season-long three-point numbers – 2.8 makes per game, 34.7 percent – may suggest a nail-biter to hit the Over.

However, Doncic has shot with more efficiency from beyond the arc of late. He’s hitting 3.5 from distance and converting at a 41.7 percent clip over his last 10, and he’s not shy about launching threes either. He attempted at least nine in each of his last five games.

The Bucks feature a stingy three-point defense, but some players – including Doncic – are difficult to contain.
