Warriors vs. Spurs | Best NBA Player Props Tonight
Stephen Curry Over 4.5 Threes
Curry returned Tuesday from a lengthy absence and unloaded 15 attempts from beyond the arc. He “only” hit five – which still would’ve been enough for an Over – but his efficiency will improve in the coming games.
The Warriors and Spurs appear set for a pacy contest with a lot of possessions. Golden State leads the league in three-point attempts and are favored by -8.5. Even though the Spurs limit opposing three-point volume, It’s reasonable to expect the Dubs to dictate the flow of action.
Tre Jones Over 15.5 Points
Devin Vassel (knee) is out indefinitely and Keldon Johnson is shooting less frequently. Those factors set the stage for more shot volume from Jones, who shoots and scores better at home. He’s averaging 19.4 points on 17.2 shots over his last five games.
Golden State doesn’t feature a particularly stingy defense, and with a total of 243.5, sportsbooks expect a high-scoring affair. Jones led the Spurs in shot attempts in the last four games and is shooting 47.9% over that span.
Keldon Johnson Under 2.5 Threes
Johnson is only averaging 13 shots per game since the calendar flipped to 2023. That’s not likely to remain the case for the long haul, but it’s a curious trend in the immediate term.
Johnson isn’t particularly efficient from three-point land, shooting 34.2% from distance. If his shot volume is going to remain suppressed – for whatever reason(s) – we’re naturally not going to be bullish on him notching three treys on the night.
Draymond Green Over 13.5 Rebounds + Assists
The expected uptempo pace of tonight’s contest is a primary factor in our Over play. Green is averaging 15.7 combined rebounds and assists across his last 11 games.
He hit the Over in eight of those contests. With so many possessions expected to be played, there’s a great chance for Green to collect a healthy number of boards. And with Klay Thompson locked in and Curry back in the fold, assist opportunities should be plentiful as well.
