Fox, the dynamic point guard for the Kings, is set to make a splash this season not only with his basketball but also with his new signature sneaker, the Curry Fox 1. Fox made his first All-Star game and was voted to his first All-NBA team two seasons ago. Getting his own signature shoe further proves his rise within the NBA hierarchy. Now, Fox has joined an elite club of NBA players with their own signature shoes. The De’Aaron Fox shoes make him the inaugural athlete under Stephen Curry’s Curry Brand.
Last October, Fox signed to join the Curry Brand with a sneaker deal. The team started quickly on designing Fox’s signature sneaker. The Curry Fox 1 showcases a sleek, low-cut design with a distinctive symbol resembling the letter “D” in the form of a curled-up fox. This logo pays homage to Fox’s namesake and his agility on the court. The shoe also features Curry’s signature logo and last name, reflecting the mentor-mentee relationship between the two players.

There is a lot of excitement around the new Curry Brand Shoe. In an interview with the Sacramento Bee, Fox said,
“Like Jordan Brand did with Nike, Steph is doing with Under Armour, and I’m the first person to be a part of that.”
LeBron James famously wanted to do this with Luka Doncic and his own shoe, unfortunately the deal never went through.
High Expectations for De’Aaron Fox
Fans are hoping Fox’s game elevates with his new signature sneakers on. Fox and the Kings are going to be in the hunt for the Western Conference playoffs. They ended a lengthy postseason drought in 2023 and reached the Play-In Tournament in 2024.
