The NBA All-Rookie First Team features a blend of top draft picks and impressive second-round selections:

  • Stephon Castle (San Antonio Spurs): 14.7 PPG, 4.1 APG, 3.7 RPG, 95 3PM, 74 steals.
  • Zaccharie Risacher (Atlanta Hawks): 12.6 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 1.2 APG, 45.8% FG.
  • Jaylen Wells (Memphis Grizzlies): 10.4 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 1.7 APG, 42.5% FG.

NBA All-Rookie Second Team Selections

The Second Team highlights emerging talents who made significant contributions:

  • Kel’el Ware (Miami Heat): 9.3 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 1.1 BPG.

Carrington’s durability stood out as he played all 82 games, a rare feat for rookies.

International Influence and Team Highlights

The 2024-25 NBA All-Rookie Teams reflect the league’s growing international diversity.
Risacher and Sarr, both hailing from France, made history as the first pair of French players to be named to the All-Rookie First Team in the same season.

The Washington Wizards also made headlines with two rookies earning All-Rookie honors—Sarr on the First Team and Carrington on the Second Team—marking the franchise’s first dual selections since the 1963–64 season.

2024-25 NBA All-Rookie Teams

NBA All-Rookie Teams of the 2024-25 season showcase a promising new generation of talent despite doubts about this draft class. Stephon Castle’s unanimous selection and Zaccharie Risacher’s near-unanimous recognition underscore their immediate impact in the league. With contributions from both top draft picks and standout second-rounders, the future of the NBA looks bright.
