Nuggets at Timberwolves Game 3: Preview, Odds, Prediction and DFS Plays

DFS Plays

Nikola Jokic

Jokic is the top play here. The Joker has played 40 minutes in each of the first two games, posting at least 25 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists in each contest. He has been dominant against the Wolves this year, averaging 35.8 points, 15.0 rebounds, and 11.3 assists during the regular season. Additionally, the big Serbian has recorded 72 double-doubles and 22 triple-doubles in 92 career playoff games.

Jamal Murray

Murray is also a strong player with a usage percentage of 31.9 through the first two games. Murray shot the ball much better in Game 2 and has posted 30 points, seven assists, and five rebounds in each postseason contest. Like Jokic, Murray has been fantastic against the Wolves this year, averaging 31.3 points, 7.3 assists, and 4.8 rebounds.

Tim Hardaway Jr.

Hardaway Jr. is a value play here. Hardaway Jr. has the third-highest usage percentage (17.9%). He has totaled 23 points, six rebounds, two steals, and one block while making 6 of 15 from the field, 4 of 6 from the 3-point line, and 7 of 10 from the free throw line. He has been very good against the Wolves this season, averaging 19.8 points with shooting splits of 61/55.6/82.4 in the regular season.

Anthony Edwards

Edwards is obviously the top play for the Wolves. While the 24-year-old has struggled shooting the ball in the series, he has a usage percentage over 30 and has been very good on the boards, and has added defensive points. He has been exceptional against the Nuggets this year, averaging 30.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists during the regular season. However, he hasn’t shot it well from deep against them at all this year.

 Julius Randle

Randle has been efficient against the Nuggets this season. He averaged 24.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists with shooting splits of 51.5/26.3/85.2. However, foul trouble is a concern, as he has been whistled for 22 fouls in six games versus the Nuggets this year.

Donte DiVincenzo

DiVincenzo has played well in the first two games of the series, averaging 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals. He also knocks down 4.0 threes with shooting splits of 55.6/57.1/00.0. While consistency is a concern, he has been productive after two days off this season.

Ayo Dosunmu

Dosunmu is another value play. Dosunmu, who has a good usage percentage this postseason, has totaled 23 points, six assists, four rebounds, and one steal in 50 minutes over the two games. He has played well against the Nuggets this season, averaging 2.0 treys with shooting splits of 50/44.4/1.000 in the series.

Naz Reid

Reid has been inconsistent in the two games. But he has been productive against the Nuggets this year. So, he is always a consideration as a value play.
