Centers
Wendell Carter Jr. – Over the past few years, Carter Jr.’s ranking has declined. Inconsistent lines and availability issues make him hard to roster. The big man can be used as a streamer, but doesn’t need to be held.
Kyle Filipowski – Despite Walker Kessler’s shutdown, Filipowski hasn’t seen extra action. He occasionally has a good performance in points and rebounds, but it’s not enough. The 22-year-old is just a player to monitor in silly season.
Daniel Gafford – Dallas’ center rotation is messy, and that situation limits Gafford. While he provides good numbers in blocks and rebounds, he is up and down and lacks upside.
Isaiah Jackson – Jackson isn’t having the breakout he was expected to despite being the Pacers’ starting center. He’s in a timeshare with two other bigs that have capped his minutes and limited his production.
Dereck Lively II – Once again, Lively is out for an extended absence. He’s struggled to stay on the court, appearing in just seven matches this season. The Mavericks’ stacked frontcourt hasn’t helped his situation either.
Bobby Portis – With Giannis Antetokounmpo coming back, Portis’ services are no longer needed. He had a disappointing line in his last game with the reserves.
Isaiah Stewart – Stewart was recently shifted to the bench as the Pistons got back some members of their frontcourt. The 24-year-old recorded some great games as a starter and is streamable in that role.
