Prediction #5: Rockets Will Win 2026 NBA Championship
No set of predictions would be complete without one hopeful last hurrah.
The Rockets will win the 2025-26 NBA championship. To be sure, the loss of starting point guard Fred VanVleet is deflating. Now that they’re missing a starting point guard, it may be foolhardy to believe they’ll be organized enough to be the team that raises the Larry O’Brien trophy. Yet, the Rockets have a strong defensive rotation, several potential breakout players, and a dynamic 1-2 punch in Durant and Sengun.
They have a real chance to go all the way.
