The Florida Gators and the Houston Cougars have punched their tickets to the NCAA Championship game in hard-fought Final Four games. Both teams have talented NBA Draft prospects who made massive contributions to their success during the season. Top NBA Draft Prospects In The 2025 NCAA Championship Game
Houston Cougars
Milos Uzan
Houston guard Milos Uzan has been an excellent all-around player for the Cougars throughout the season and tournament. Uzan plays the game with excellent motor and basketball IQ. Furthermore, he uses overall steadiness as a player to control the flow of the game and place himself or his teammates in positions to score. Offensively, Uzan has shown himself as a talented playmaker and shooter. His ability to knock down three-pointers allows him to scale down his game around other ball-handlers. However, Uzan is capable of playing on the ball and initiating offense for his team. In particular, Uzan rarely turns the ball over and usually makes the right reads against defenses.
The other equally important part of Uzan’s game is his defensive abilities. Standing at 6-foot-4, Uzan isn’t the most athletic and he can struggle guarding stronger players. However, he plays defense with energy and intelligence. Specifically, Uzan is excellent at playing off-ball defense. With great performances throughout the season, Uzan has shown the talent and skills to be an NBA player at the next level.
Joseph “JoJo” Tugler
Another NBA draft prospect on the Cougars is Joseph “JoJo” Tugler, who has made a name for himself as a defensive ace for Houston. Standing at 6-foot-7, Tugler’s main strengths as a player are his defensive versatility and rim protection. In particular, he has the perfect combination of size, strength, and quickness to be able to guard anyone. Tugler can excel in any defensive role he’s put in, whether it be as a traditional rim protector or wing defender. Additionally, Tugler knows how to utilize his physical tools to be an amazing rim protector for his size. Undoubtedly, Tugler is a great defensive prospect, however, he doesn’t bring much on the offensive end. Tugler mostly thrives off of lobs and dump-offs. Nevertheless, Tugler’s dominant defensive showing makes him a clear NBA draft prospect.
Florida Gators
Walter Clayton Jr.
Florida guard Walter Clayton Jr. has been incredible in the NCAA tournament, solidifying himself as one of the better guard prospects in the class. Standing at 6-foot-2, Clayton Jr. is a flat-out scorer who can bury perimeter shots in the clutch. Unquestionably, Clayton Jr. is one of the best and most versatile shooters in the draft. He can knock down shots off of catch-and-shoot opportunities or shoot off the dribble. Clayton Jr. can create his own shots and can make decent passes. He does have his struggles as a defender and playmaker, but the level of shot creation he brings cannot be understated. His scoring, especially in the tournament, will get him plenty of attention in the NBA draft.
Alex Condon
While big man Alex Condon hasn’t had the best showing in the NCAA Tournament, he has shown throughout the season that he possesses intriguing skills and talent. Standing at 6-foot-11, Condon has the physical tools to be a two-way big at the next level. He has the speed and length to be a versatile defensive piece who can both defend the paint and the perimeter. Condon still needs to add strength to his frame, but the defensive potential is there. Offensively, Condon scores well in the paint and can make good passing reads. However, he does have questions relating to his jump shot. Regardless, Condon has displayed a natural feel for the game and the talent to be a threat on the court. Ultimately, Condon will be a popular name in the draft, especially in the second round.
