The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will take place at the Chase Center on February 16, and we now officially know who the starters of the game are. Getting selected as an All-Star starter is an honor only given to 10 players each year. Some have earned this honor multiple times, whereas others are just now earning it for the first time. New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, who earned his first All-Star appearance last season, is the starting point guard for the Eastern Conference this year. The 28-year-old is averaging 26 points, 3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game.
Donovan Mitchell, now in his third season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, has also been named an All-Star starter. This is the second time in his career (2023) that Mitchell has earned the honor. On the year, he is averaging 23.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. Additionally, he has led the Cavaliers to a 36-7, tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for best in the NBA.
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has earned an All-Star nod for the ninth straight season. This season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.5 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1.4 blocks. “The Greek Freak” is currently a favorite to take home this year’s MVP award.
Jayson Tatum, now on his sixth NBA All-Star team, is putting together another MVP-caliber campaign. The Boston Celtics star is averaging 27.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
Arguably the most intriguing player on this list is Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns. This is Towns’ first year in New York and also his first year as an All-Star starter. The former Minnesota Timberwolves big is averaging 25.1 points, 13.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1 steal per game.

The Western Conference All-Star starters are also star-studded and filled with familiar names.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is now in his 11th All-Star game, 10th as a starter. Despite Golden State’s struggles this season, Curry is still going strong. On the year, he is averaging 22.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.
The NBA’s leading scorer and strong MVP candidate, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, has earned an All-Star game for the third consecutive season. Gilgeous-Alexander has led the Thunder to a fantastic start and has the numbers to back things up as well. He is averaging 32 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks this season.
Kevin Durant is another legend still going strong. With this selection, the Phoenix Suns star will now appear in his 15th All-Star game. This season, he is averaging 27.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.4 blocks.
LeBron James is now in his 21st consecutive All-Star game, which is an NBA record. Despite recently turning 40, the Los Angeles Lakers star has shown few signs of slowing down. This season, he is averaging 23.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 9 assists per game.
The reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic is now a seven-time All-Star. This season, the Denver Nuggets star is averaging a career-high 30.1 points, 13.2 rebounds, 9.9 assists, and 1.9 steals per game.
