As we enter the final week (24) in the 2023-24 NBA regular season, here’s a fantasy basketball guide and analysis.

NBA Schedule
Every team will play at least three games this week, with the majority playing four. Note that there are no games on Monday and Saturday.
Teams with four games are the Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, and Utah Jazz.
The Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Washington Wizards play three games.
Waiver Wire Adds/Streams
Sam Hauser/Payton Pritchard – The Celtics are the top team in the league, so they can afford to rest their star players for playoffs. As a result, Hauser and Pritchard will see bigger roles, and they’ve thrived when put in that position.
Noah Clowney – Over the last three games, Clowney provided solid fantasy value. The Nets were shorthanded, a trend that should continue this week.
Tre Mann/Vasilije Micic/Grant Williams – Mann and Micic continue to control the Hornets’ backcourt due to injuries. Micic looked like the better option lately, but Mann is starting to heat up. Likewise, Williams also saw an uptick in minutes, resulting in great production.
Javonte Green – Depending on the availability of the Bulls’ backcourt, Green’s usage could trend down. However, he could still see a significant role based on an impressive sample of recent games.
Caris LeVert/Max Strus – Both LeVert and Strus offer solid production when given increased roles. If the Cavaliers decide to rest their stars, this duo is in line for some good games.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope/Reggie Jackson – If the Nuggets choose to be cautious with their stars, which they likely will, then Pope and Jackson will shoulder significant workloads.
Chimezie Metu/Jaden Ivey – Metu is already dubbed a silly season hero thanks to his well-rounded contributions. Ivey is also in a position to receive more usage while Cade Cunningham is sidelined.
Trayce Jackson-Davis – Even though his minutes have dipped, Jackson-Davis is still carving out a role and maintaining fantasy relevance.
T.J. McConnell – McConnell is still playing well, even while coming off the bench. He stands to gain more value if Tyrese Haliburton is sidelined.
Russell Westbrook/Norman Powell – Westbrook and Powell have opportunities to see increased minutes if the Clippers look after their big three.
Rui Hachimura – When LeBron James and/or Anthony Davis are out, it’s Hachimura’s time to shine. The star duo will likely see some absences in the final stretch, meaning Hachimura can see a boost.
Grizzlies – As mentioned throughout the season, when streaming Memphis players, the best thing to do is wait for the injury report. But Jordan Goodwin, Scotty Pippen Jr., GG Jackson, and Maozinha Pereira played well last week and are decent options for week 24 if they continue to have run time.
Dyson Daniels – The Pelicans are still shorthanded heading into the final week. Daniels has played a bigger role, whether coming off the bench or starting, offering numbers in multiple categories.
Paul Reed – Even with the return of Joel Embiid, Reed still has some value. Embiid will likely miss a game or two this week so Reed can reclaim his starting role.
Dalano Banton/Jabari Walker/Scoot Henderson – The Trail Blazers are one of the biggest victims of silly season, but one hero has emerged: Banton. He’s a hot waiver wire pickup and must-roster player. Walker and Henderson also have great value and are fantastic adds.
Julian Champagnie – After two Spurs went down with season-ending injuries/surgeries, Champagnie has stepped up. He’s seeing big minutes and posting excellent multi-category production.
Corey Kispert – The Wizards have a plethora of injuries, leading them to rely more on Kispert. He can be up and down sometimes but still offers good production.
Drops
At this point in the season, all injured players are droppable (those previously listed as out for the season should have been dropped then). Those who have missed the past few weeks but could return to close the regular season, such as Trae Young or Brandon Ingram, ares drops if needed. They will likely have an insignificant role and only play a game or two.
Depending on your streaming strategy and the schedule, players listed as questionable or day-to-day are droppable.
