NBA Free Agency 2020: Top Stars to Hit the Market in the Offseason

NBA Free Agency 2020

The NBA free-agent market won’t have as many big names last year’s player pool did. Still, there is a lot of talent that will be up for grabs and the amount of money on offers will be significant. Before the NBA can get to the free agency market of 2020, the playoffs must be played. The NBA season is hurtling toward the playoffs and fans can visit https://silentbet.com/ to get a bet bonus and tips before wagering on the Association’s postseason.

NBA Free Agency 2020: Top Five Players Who Will Hit the Market This Offseason

5 – Serge Ibaka

Whether a starter or sixth man, Serge Ibaka could play for most NBA teams. Ibaka has NBA championship experience from last season with the Toronto Raptors. He could bring a winning mentality to whichever team he joins. Ibaka is averaging 15.9 points and 8.0 rebounds per game this season.

He is a strong defender capable of defending multiple positions in games. The forward could end up back in Toronto but with a strong skillset, Ibaka will be courted by plenty of the NBA’s top teams.

4 – Andre Drummond

Andre Drummond is set to hit the free-agent market if he opts out of his player option this summer. His future was appeared to be ever apparent ahead of the trade deadline when the Detroit Pistons traded him to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The big man averages 17.8 and 15.8 rebounds per game. Drummond’s brilliance on the boards will have plenty of teams salivating at the thought of signing him as a free agent.

3 – DeMar DeRozan

The San Antonio Spurs have been working on a contract extension with guard DeMar DeRozan for much of the season, according to NBA insiders. Yet, a deal is not in place and it is possible DeRozan could leave the Spurs. He is a confident player that can play on both ends. DeRozan has a player option and plenty of teams will want to splash out on his 22.8 points and 3.5 assists per game.

2 – Draymond Green

The Golden State Warriors’ terrible 2019-20 should see forward Draymond Green leave the team in the offseason. Green is a free agent to be after five seasons with Golden State. The forward is a monster on the defensive end and should receive top dollar in the summer. Plenty of NBA observers believe Green is on the decline, however. If any teams feel the same way, it could keep him from landing with an NBA title contender.

1 – Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis has been a superstar alongside LeBron James for the Los Angeles Lakers. The big man averages 24 points and 10 rebounds per game. Davis has a player option for 2020 and is likely to remain with the Lakers, especially with the team topping the Western Conference this season. If Davis accepts his player option, he will be an unrestricted free agent in 2021. A force on both ends of the court, the Lakers won’t be the only team seeking to add Davis in the offseason.
