Coast 2 Coast Podcast Episode #10: NBA Week One Breakdown

Austin and Dante hop on the pod to break down NBA Week One, including who they expect to improve after slow starts and who is for real.

Editor’s Note: Welcome to the tenth episode of Coast 2 Coast, the basketball podcast right here at Last Word on Sports. Austin and Dante are as excited as any for this first week of NBA play. Beginning with the past week’s news and notes, the two discuss some of their favorite and least liked 2013 draft class contract extensions. They also consider some of Ray Allen’s actions and how difficult it will be for him to choose a team with which to retire.

Looking back at the week, Austin and Dante speak to the biggest NBA Week One disappointments and make some wild overreactions. After discussing the downfall of NBA defenses and choosing their Week Two players to watch, the duo decides on their Week One Team of the Week. They wrap up their first regular season podcast by picking the must-watch game of the week…surprise, surprise: Russell Westbrook’s triple doubles are involved.
