Adam Duvall, a seasoned outfielder with a decade of experience, has played for five different teams, recently with the Boston Red Sox last season. He was a part of the 2021 World Series championship Atlanta Braves team. He led the National League in runs batted in that regular season. Then, in the postseason, he had a huge impact in helping the Braves make the World Series and eventually win. Today, Duvall has agreed to a one-year contract to return to Atlanta. At 35, he’ll look to have another 20-plus home run season with the Braves.

During the 2023 season, Adam Duvall’s worst pitch to see at the plate was a curveball. Out of 117 curveballs seen, the 2021 World Series Champion outfielder had a.167 batting average and struck out 42 percent of the time. Against 101 changeups, the 2016 all-star recorded a.353 batting average but struck out nearly half the time he saw the pitch. Adam’s best pitch to see in 2023 was a cutter. He stacked up a .391 batting average and a slugging percentage of .783. If Duvall wants the last few years of his career to be memorable, he’ll undoubtedly have to be the best hitter he can be at the plate. He must step up and be smarter regarding the off-speed and breaking ball pitches.
