A much-needed joyous night for the Best Bets series last night. Everything clicked into place and followed my predictions. The Atlanta Braves continue to crush teams early, putting up three runs in just the first two innings. In part due to an Austin Riley Solo home run in the bottom of the first. We got slightly unlucky in our Arizona Diamondbacks pick after a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth cut their lead from two to one. They are cashing our main pick but killing our secondary play. Finally, Tyler Glasnow, AKA Cillian Murphy, and the Tampa Bay Rays crushed the San Fransisco Giants. Glasnow breezed to six strikeouts, using only 65 pitches. However, at this point in his night, he hit a roadblock. They used his following 22 pitches to issue two walks, a single strikeout, and an earned run.

It would be criminal to bet against not only the hottest team in baseball but also the hottest team in baseball. We are returning to the well for game two between the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves. Luis Severino takes the mound for the Yankees tonight, and I can’t see things going well for him. This Braves lineup makes the best of pitchers look silly, and I would not describe Mr. Severino as one of the best. Additionally, this game is one of the best for home runs in the entire slate between the weather, pitching, and bats.
