Motorsports Weekend – Watkins Glen and More

A somewhat lacking weekend of Motorsports action won’t stop any of the series participating, in fact all but one series is racing at Road Courses. That series would be the World of Outlaws, whom will travel to Knoxville, Iowa for the Knoxville Nationals – an event that pits 71 cars in to uncountable races throughout four days. You can find all the pre race info and points in this weeks Motorsports Weekend between August 8-10.

Ambrose is accompanied by a few other road course racing specialist who could secure their spot in the Chase by winning this one. NASCAR Nationwide at Watkins Glen
Qualifying: Saturday at 9:40am EST on ESPN2
Race: Saturday at 2:15pm EST on ABC
Previous winner: Brad Keselowski
LWOS’ pick to win: Marcos Ambrose

A few cup specialists entered this race like always when it’s a Cup-Nationwide Double header, but some, like Marcos Ambrose, can really get some practice into the track. Ambrose will be a big threat in both races this weekend as will Brad Keselowski. The #22 NNS car is on a hot streak and BK is highly capable of carrying it to victory lane in back to back races.
