Tampa Bay Tornadoes could Join NAL

The NAL looks to have a solid 10 teams in the 2020 season, according to Commissioner Chris Siegfried in an interview during a game this season. The league is at six teams at the moment.

With the new expansion rules, all expansion teams are to submit their expansion applications by the end of August. The date that the team has to pay their dues won’t be until October 10. The schedule will be released on November 1, 2019.

While it may seem promising for the NAL right now, there is still confusion surrounding the situation.

At the beginning of 2019, they seemed to post a lot about the American Arena League (AAL) and joining their league.

After being quiet about the AAL for some time, it leads others wondering where they will go While it is not confirmed that they are joining the NAL, it is a possibility.

The team has already announced its coaching staff for the 2020 season, along with bios for each coach. They will be headed by Stevie Thomas, a former player for the Tampa Bay Storm and Orlando Predators as well as a two-time ArenaBowl MVP.
