Jacksonville Sharks Pull Away vs. Dayton Wolfpack
A crowd of 9,160 in Jacksonville, FL witnessed a great performance from both teams. The game got real interesting as it started. Jacksonville quickly scored on the opening drive of the game, followed by a Wolfpack touchdown.
Sharks quarterback Damien Fleming struggled early and threw an interception, helping the Wolfpack come on top 12-6 at the end of the first quarter.
To start off the second quarter, both teams exchange touchdowns until Chris Brumsfield for the Wolfpack fumbles the ball and Keith Bowers recovers the fumble. Things started looking good like Jacksonville has played all season long. Dayton would not quit without a fight after Brumsfield found Dermarcus Sweat for a long touchdown.
Going into halftime, the Sharks scored again on a rush from Fleming, putting them ahead 32-26.
Things didn’t quite go the way the Wolfpack wanted it to go in the second half, allowing more points than double their points in the game. There was no stopping the Sharks defense, being sacked, and giving the Sharks two-points on a safety. Derrick Ross for the Sharks rushed a couple more touchdowns to seal the deal. The Sharks ended up winning 77-32.
