ISR Interview Power: Italy looking very strong at Six Nations
With their unique look at the Six Nations Championship the Rugby Panel of Commentators Rick Powers & Pearse Higgins reassembled eventually… on the International Sports Report’s Lins O’Connor and Peter Irvine on TSN 1050 Radio in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The boys review France vs Italy’s nail bitter in the first weekend of the Six Nations. Powers also explains the Six Nations being more about pride for most teams. Pearse examines the importance of the referees in the France and Italy match up. Rick speaks about the success of Eddie Jones with England at least early on. Rick picks Wales, but retains his right to changes picks throughout the tournament. Pearse speaks to how boring the England vs Scotland match was. The dynamic duo also preview Sunday’s action. The panel also discusses the Americas Rugby Championship, including an opening win for Canada.
