ISR Interview Dent: Avalanche of runs for Australia vs India

This past Sunday, Sunday Down Under Cricket Reporter Joe Boughton-Dent joined the International Sports Report to review the weekend’s cricket action, including the series between Australia and India.

Joe reviews Australia’s One Day Series domination at the Sydney Cricket ground vs India. He goes into detail on the runs disparity. He points out the entertainment value in the hitting parade, despite the lack of competitiveness. Joe also previews New Zealand’s up coming series vs Australia down under. Joe predicts a closer affair than last time out for the Kiwi’s. Dent also updates the health of Australian Cricket Coach Darren Scott Lehmann.

Joe reviews the issues off pitch around Pakistan’s players ahead of their match with New Zealand. Dent also speaks to the impact match fixing has had on cricket, much like other sports. Joe updates South Africa vs England, including the rain delay. Dent also lets us know which West Indies Cricketer is retiring and how it affects the team. Joe goes on to recap the crowds down under for cricket this weekend. Dent also explains the importance of day and night cricket to bring in more spectators to matches. Joe explains this change could help grow the women’s game as well.
