Fantasy Profile: Latavius Murray, RB, Oakland Raiders

The 2014 fantasy season was rolling along week after week and not many people had heard of Latavius Murray. Then one night in primetime Murray snapped off 112 yards and two touchdowns on only four carries against a stingy Kansas City defense. The rest of the year was not as kind to Murray (in his defense it was equally unkind to anyone trying to rush the ball in Oakland.)

Bill Musgrave should tighten things up on the offensive line and get the Oakland Raiders rolling on the ground again. Latavius Murray is the tallest running back in the game at 6’3”. He is strong and fast and can break away on any carry. Trent Richardson should offer little resistance for the starting position and the addition of Roy Helu was made to add to the passing game. Murray is a third fantasy running back this year with unlimited upside. Look for him in round four or five.
