Fantasy Profile: David Cobb, RB, Tennessee Titans

David Cobb is an interesting fantasy prospect for the 2015 season. He comes to Tennessee in an offense that is getting a major facelift. Marcus Mariota was drafted with the number two overall pick to lead this offense that had no face or identity until (hopefully) now. Cobb will likely start the season second on the depth chart behind Bishop Sankey but that doesn’t mean he will stay there.

Cobb is a down hill runner with superlative size and power. He also adds the benefit of being a good pass blocking back, an attribute often missing in young running backs that keeps them on the sidelines during passing downs. Cobb is a great late round fantasy pick that could produce healthy numbers if given the opportunity to carry the load in an evolving offense. Keep your eye on Cobb this season.
