Match Day 12: Saint Louis FC Travel To Pittsburgh
After a tough stretch of four games in ten days, Saint Louis FC have had a full week off. They now travel to Pittsburgh to play the Riverhounds in a rematch of Saint Louis FC’s home opener.
Pittsburgh Riverhounds (4-3-3, 15 pts.) Vs. Saint Louis FC (3-3-3, 12 pts.)

Time: 1:00 PM ET (12:00 PM CT)
Venue: Highmark Stadium; Pittsburgh, Pa.
LAST TIME OUT: Saint Louis FC drew 1-1 in its third head-to-head match of the season against rivals Louisville City FC last Saturday at Slugger Field. After a scoreless first half, Kadeem Dacres gave Louisville a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute. The lead would not last long, as Saint Louis FC substitute Charles Renken scored his first goal of the season to equalize in the 70th minute.
THE OPPONENT: The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are coming off a wild 6-5 victory over Harrisburg City Islanders last weekend. Facing a 3-0 deficit at halftime, the Riverhounds scored six second half goals to complete a miraculous come-from-behind win. Three of the six goals were scored in second half stoppage time.
THE SERIES: Saint Louis FC hosted Pittsburgh in the club’s home opener on April 11 at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. After Brandon Barklage scored just before halftime to give Saint Louis FC the lead. Vinnie Dantas earned a point for the Riverhounds with an equalizing goal in the 72nd minute. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
WHERE TO WATCH: On Saturday, Ballpark Village will be hosting a Champions League Watch Party. Along with watching Juventus and Barcelona play at 1:45 PM, fans can catch Saint Louis FC’s match against the Riverhounds at 12:00 PM. Ticket and merchandise giveaways will take place throughout the match, along with appearances by Saint Louis FC players.
