Another year, another Hell In The Cell on Pay Per View. This time we get two Hell In The Cell matches on the show. It’s just in a few days from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL
Since 1997, the specter of Hell in a Cell has loomed over the heads of WWE’s greatest Superstars. The massive steel structure we have seen so much blood throughout the years and many epic cell matches. Just a few that are some of my favorite cell matches include Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker from Bad Blood: In Your House 1997 , which was the debut of Kane. No doubt the most famous cell match was Mankind vs. Undertaker in June of 1998. Another favorite is 2009 with CM Punk vs The Undertaker and Wrestlemania 28’s Triple H vs The Undertaker in an End of an Era. 26 Hell in a Cell Matches that have taken place so far in the WWE.
Preview and Predictions
Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel vs. Big E Langston This will be a good match with two up and coming superstars in the WWE. Curtis Axel is already a star and Big E is getting there no doubt. Paul Heyman will be the reason why Axel retains the IC Title.
Divas Champion AJ Lee vs. Brie Bella Here we go again in Brie vs AJ for the Divas title. It should be a good entertaining match. AJ Lee is the top female in WWE and the best female wrestler on the main roster right now. Back and forth action we will see in this one but I predict AJ Lee retains and wins.
WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins vs The Usos Three of the top tag teams in WWE right now. The former champions in The Shield I could see winning the titles back but I could also see the Uso’s winning them for the first time. Goldust and Cody won their jobs back last month at Battleground and the tag titles on Monday night Raw two weeks ago. I want to think the Shield wins them back but I have to go with Goldust and Cody Rhodes to retain.
CM Punk vs. Ryback & Paul Heyman Handicap Hell in a Cell Match The war is still on going with CM Punk and Paul Heyman. Former Paul Heyman Guy CM Punk says he is going to destroy Heyman. I really hope at least in one cell match we get blood and someone bleeds because a hell in the cell match is pretty pointless to have without any blood. When Heyman and Punk get in the ring one on one it should be a bloodbath. We want blood, WWE! I see CM Punk pulling it out and winning this 2 on 1 match up.
World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs John Cena SuperCena returns to Pay Per View. This match is going to be boring I think. I don’t care about the WHC belt at all it’s a pointless title to have in WWE. Everyone knows the main Championship in WWE is the WWE Championship belt, a title that is 50 years old this year. John Cena goes over and wins the World Heavyweight Championship.
Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan WWE Championship Hell in a Cell Match Stephanie McMahon and Triple H’s guy is Randy Orton but Daniel Bryan is the fans guy and it’s his time to finally be given the ball to run with by WWE… but not this month. Randy Orton will win the WWE Champioship and next month it’s Bryan vs Orton again at Survivor Series 2013. Orton goes over in the cell with maybe a HBK Screw job I can see happening.
