This is the 90Plus Podcast, where Ben Righetti and Sebastian Pereira talk and cover everything Whitecaps related. A podcast bringing listeners news, game recaps, analysis, and more surrounding Vancouver.


In this week’s episode, Ben and Sebastian sit down with former Whitecaps, Rangers, Wolves and Scotland striker Kenny Miller to talk about his career. The Scotsman spent 2 full years in Vancouver, before ending up as an assistant coach in Australia, behind former Whitecaps coach Carl Robinson. Before the Miller interview (at 13:17), the guys brief listeners on the changes made to the podcast. About the hosts:

Ben Righetti covers the Vancouver Whitecaps for Last Word, as well as for the 90Plus Podcast. 2021 will be Ben’s second season covering the team, despite having watched them since joining the MLS in 2011. A recent graduate of BCIT’s Broadcast and Online Journalism program, Ben wishes to one day cover the game at the highest level. His love for all sports has also landed his a job working with the BC Lions in the CFL, as well as other various freelance work, however nothing will top the beautiful game.

Sebastian Pereira covers the Whitecaps for World Football Index, and is entering his second year of coverage. A fellow student of the BCIT Broadcast and Online Journalism program, Sebastian aims to cover the sport at a top level. Born in Colombia, Sebastian has always loved watching and following soccer, with some of his favourite memories being his country’s deep run in the 2014 World Cup, and Liverpool winning both the Champions League and Premier League in 2019/20.
