The 2017 MLS season begins tonight in Portland, Oregon when the Portland Timbers take on Minnesota United, who are playing their first ever MLS game. In the coming months, the Seattle Sounders will begin their quest to repeat as MLS Cup Champions, two new teams will get their feet wet in the league, and plenty of new players will take to the American pitch for the first time.
