Raising Bulls – 07 September 2016
This week, Anthony, Bill, and Joe discuss yet another road win for New York Red Bulls II over Bethlehem Steel FC. The game saw goals by Brandon Allen and Derrick Etienne Jr. NY moved a few points closer to wrapping up the regular season title, their first, and gave them a 6 point cushion over Louisville FC.
Next up, the guys discussed two very different games this week. First up, a trap game against Harrisburg City Islanders. Harrisburg has struggled this year, and is just out of reach of the playoffs. The weight of the second game against Rochester this week makes this game a perfect storm of a trap game.
Then, the guys discuss this weekend’s game against Rochester Rhinos. The Rhinos have not lost to RBII in league play in the short history of this rivalry. The Red Bulls are in a great position to grab points this weekend, but must make sure not to lose focus on each game.
Finally, we discuss the “Harambe incident” from a couple of week’s ago. Those who have been following along will get to hear some more insight from the man himself, Anthony Merced, on the subject.
