At day two of Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival or as it was known the Speed Star Final 2021 Dragon Gate’s Open The Brave Gate Championship changed hands, yet again! As Kagetora put a end to the one-day reign of Genki Horiguchi. With this win, not only did he end Horiguchi’s brief reign but Kagetora also became a two time Open The Brave Gate Champion. Afterwards backstage he was challenged by SBKENTo who is making his first attempt at the belt. The title challenge was accepted and made official for SBKENTo’s homecoming show. Horiguchi won the title on day one of the Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival when he defeated Keisuke Okuda.
The Open The Dream Gate Championship changed hands as well on this show. YAMATO defeated Shun Skywalker to become a five-time champion. With this win YAMATO now holds the record for most reigns as Open The Dream Gate Champion! No challenger has yet to approach YAMATO, but that surely will change. Skywalker’s first reign as champion came to an end after 259 days in which time he made five successful defenses of the championship.
