Jake Atlas won the PCW ULTRA UltraLight Championship on Friday, winning a five-man scramble against Eli Everfly, The Oracle, Fidel Bravo, and making his return from injury, the former Champion “Relentless” Douglas James. The title was vacated December 10th after former champion Shane Strickland defeated Penta El 0M at Believe to win the PCW ULTRA Heavyweight title. Atlas was the number one contender for the Championship for months and many wondered if the Title shot would come. It did and the gifted youngster took advantage. It’s his first major independent title, and it’ll be exciting to see how Atlas handles this opportunity.
The good news continued for Jake Atlas, as he was announced on Thursday as a competitor for the Wrestle Summit supercard featuring talent from IMPACT Wrestling, PCW ULTRA, DEFY Wrestling, Wrestling Revolver and Melbourne City Wrestling.
Jake Atlas is the neeeeew ULTRALIGHT CHAMPION. This young competitor has proven that he has what it takes to wrestle and hang with anyone in the world. He enters the Wrestle summit under PCW ULTRA.
