The Machine Guns have been a key part of IMPACT Wrestling since their return to the promotion in 2020. The duo recently competed against each other with a shot at the IMPACT World Championship on the line. After an intense back and forth match it was Alex Shelley who had his hand raised. He challenged Josh Alexander for the IMPACT World Championship at Emergence where Alexander retained.
Both The Machine Guns and Jay Lethal have a long history with IMPACT Wrestling when the company was known as TNA Wrestling. The trio will be reuniting to take on the formidable trio of FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and TNT Champion Wardlow.
This will be the first time Sabin and Shelley will be stepping into an AEW ring. The duo can hold their own in singles and in tag action. The duo has held singles and tag titles in IMPACT, AAW, NJPW, ROH, Pro Wrestling Zero1-Max, and many more.
