Jey Uso shocked the WWE Universe on Raw when he captured the Intercontinental Championship. Bron Breakker shocked them again when he abandoned what seemed to be a face-turn in defeat. Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker has WWE trapped in a corner.
Neither man can afford a loss in this feud. Jey Uso is finally getting his title run and needs to look like a real champion who can stand on his own, especially as he is likely going to be a main character in The Bloodline saga and a spotlight with The Rock.
Bron Breakker has already lost two Intercontinental title matches; a third could severely hurt his momentum, especially since he is shunning the crowd’s support. There needs to be a course correction here to save both men’s momentum.

Main Event Jey Uso: The Tribal Chief in Waiting
Since the very beginning, Jey Uso was the right-hand man and the only person to take control of The Bloodline after Roman. WWE has done a fantastic job of making the tag team specialist a real contender and one of the company’s biggest heroes.
The final piece he needed was some tangible singles success. In lieu of a deserved world title, His Intercontinental run is that success. His involvement with The Bloodline will only be elevated by his being a champion, possibly the only one, while he does it.

On the other hand, Jey Uso losing his title in his first defense will weaken his position considerably. Even with Solo Sikoa’s interference, which they teased on SmackDown, his loss would still be proof that he isn’t capable of carrying a division on his own.
It would turn his crowning achievement into a minor point in his cousin’s storyline.
Jey’s father, Rikishi, may have a tendency to exaggerate his son’s booking woes, but he isn’t entirely wrong. WWE has a natural organic star in its midst, something they have yet to capitalize on. Jey should really avoid losses, even ones that are in service to his family’s overarching feud.
The Stand-out Bron Breakker: A World Champion Contender
Bron Breakker is a blue-chip prospect from a wrestling family. Despite the fact that Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker has WWE trapped, part of the appeal of extending the rivalry is that they are both legacy talents.
When Breakker first appeared on WWE programming, it was the focal point of NXT 2.0. People had their doubts, but he quickly quieted them, becoming one of the brand’s biggest stars in a long time.
Now, on Raw, he has been reasonably well-protected. Losing only twice, and both in high-profile title bouts, he has built an impressive highlight reel.
His unrestricted power has made him look every bit as capable as Gunther, Damian Priest, or Seth Rollins to carry the world title.
While his two losses aren’t many, both of them are in Intercontinental title matches.
Losing a third time in the same scenario would derail much of his momentum. Breakker is often compared to stars like Goldberg, an unstoppable force set to sit atop the WWE hierarchy inevitably. He could, though, go the way of a less popular character in WWE history.
His career could end up paralleling that of Ryback. Ryback was one of the hottest acts in 2013, but he was sacrificed in a few too many title matches at that time. Breakker may be better than Ryback, but sometimes wins and losses will matter.
Having him lose one more big match could set him down a path of comedy tag teams and motivational speaker nonsense.
Jey Uso vs. Bron Breaker Has WWE Trapped; Roman Reigns Can Save Them
Jey Uso vs. Bron Breaker has WWE trapped in a no-win situation. Whoever walks away, the loser will be in a far worse position than they are now. Worse still, it would come at a time when both of them are starting to gain real momentum.
There is, luckily, an easy way out of this predicament. In fact, WWE could avoid catastrophe and improve four separate characters in just a few simple steps.
First, the title match on Raw. Solo and his Bloodline will be making an appearance, but not to cost Jey the title and see him beg for vengeance.
Instead, They will jump the “Yeeted One” during his entrance through the crowd. Roman and Jimmy come to the rescue as Bron Breakker fumes that the Bloodline nonsense took away his shot at a title, a sentiment he shares with Adam Pearce.
On the next Smackdown, Nick Aldis starts the show, not Solo or Roman. He says that he doesn’t particularly care where the family drama stnds; the Bloodline has overstepped, and people above him are unhappy.
He spoke to Adam Pearce, and they agreed for once, so effective immediately, Jey Uso and his Intercontinental title will be moved to SmackDown while the United States Champion LA Knight is moving to Raw.
That night, Jey makes his official debut and enters into the Bloodline saga once again, this time as the champion.
Likewise, LA Knight, who’s been floundering behind the United States title, gets fresh matches and some time away from the vortex that is Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Then, everyone is where they make the most sense to entertain their fans.
