Predicting Every WWE PLE for Uncle Howdy Through The Royal Rumble

With a touching tribute and a chaotic finish, Uncle Howdy has finally made his WWE debut. The Bo Dallas persona won a decisive victory not at a premium live event but over Chad Gable in the main event slot of Raw.

With the first match out of the way, it’s time to start predicting every PLE for Uncle Howdy through the Royal Rumble and the start of WrestleMania season. The Wyatt Sicks have been a consistent part of the programming on Monday nights.

That will likely continue as WWE transitions away from introducing the Sicks and into using them in more specific stories. Of course, the group will continue to play heavily in the late great Bray Wyatt’s lore.

The group is not scheduled to be part of the matches featured on Bash in Berlin, so after that show is finished, Uncle Howdy can hopefully find his way onto a bigger stage.

Bad Blood: Chad Gable vs. Uncle Howdy (Hell in a Cell)

One win is never enough in the WWE Universe. Likewise, the Triple H era of booking has been a lot better about creatively extending feuds. Chad Gable just formed his American Made faction.

Also, Ivy Nile just joined him and The Creed brothers on the dark side. Yes, Gable and The Creeds have been soundly defeated by Howdy, Erik Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis.

The developing nature of their faction, though, formed explicitly to protect Gable from the Wyatt Sicks demands that the story continue for one more month. The way Bo Dallas and Chad Gable have been clicking dictates that they should get at least one match together at a major show.

When Bad Blood arrives, WWE should try to incorporate Hell in a Cell. Removing the stipulation from the event name is wise, but several feuds on the Raw side could call for the structure, and it would be wise to book all of them that way.

With some more time on Raw, this rivalry can absolutely fit the bill. Uncle Howdy’s violence is what initially drew fans to him.

They have not built on that since, but a cell would bring that out again. Also, Bray’s biggest blunder in WWE was inside the structure. Some people had soured on him to the point they wanted him out of the company. Bo proving the gimmick can work in the cage is a righting a grievous wrong for his family.

NXT Halloween Havoc: The Wyatt Sicks Meet Wes Lee

Does Uncle Howdy need to show up on NXT programming? No, he absolutely doesn’t. Having been a WWE fan for decades, it is frankly impossible to pretend that WWE wouldn’t consider using him for a Halloween Havoc show.

The Wyatt Sicks are scary and have costumes. That is the vibe of Halloween, and really the month of October culturally, in a concise summary. Main roster talent makes NXT feel like a much bigger show, which is why the crossover would work for the betterment of everyone involved.

The unlucky recipient of a home visit at Halloween Havoc from their favorite Uncle is probably going to be Wes Lee. Wes just recently turned on his partners and friends.

He also turned his back on the fans, going heel to try and get ahead in his career. That is just the sort of behavior that Bo and company seem to despise, among other things.

Whether it is a post-match angle or some brawl to open the show, Wes Lee will have to face the consequences of turning his back on the people who cared about him while the NXT faithful get to send up their fireflies one more time to get a viral moment.

Crown Jewel: Uncle Howdy vs. Xavier Woods

It is hard to accept, but it appears like The New Day may be history soon. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have been hinting at a breakup for a little while now, with recent interactions really fueling the speculative fire.

When the duo does split, it will be Woods, not Kingston, who breaks bad. Xavier is the only member of New Day who has yet to hold a singles championship.

Assuming his betrayal is coming soon, his initial feud with Kofi and Odyssey Jones will have been cooled by Crown Jewel. The traitorous Woods can start to focus on his championship aspirations until a wrathful Uncle Howdy intervenes.

Uncle Howdy’s targeting Woods works thematically. Xavier will be a heel who betrayed his brother, that is like a beacon for The Wyatt Sicks. More importantly, Woods and New Day also worked with Bray Wyatt a long time ago. Woods, like Dallas or Wyatt, is incredibly creative and a fan of broader pop culture.

His involvement could really help the team push the envelope and build the lore around Uncle Howdy. This is especially true when Woods defeats him on the same show in which The Fiend was vanquished.

To get Bo to snap even further, predicting every PLE for Uncle Howdy can’t just be about wins. Xavier Woods has earned the right to win here and can do it justice without a doubt.

Survivor Series: Wyatt Sicks vs. American Made and Xavier Woods

Triple H has implemented a good thing by removing the forced stipulations from WWE events. However, somewhat confusingly, he has turned Survivor Series into WarGames, with two required WarGames matches each year.

This has come at the expense of the iconic elimination tag team matches, which have also had some really great moments over the years.

In 2024, Triple H, we could have our cake and eat it too. We can get a traditional elimination match between The Wyatt Sicks and their two rivals sandwiched between the two marquee matches.

At the last of the major PLE’s to happen overseas in 2024, WWE will need to really provide a big show that feels like a conclusion. They can put a cap on this first chapter if Uncle Howdy beats Xavier Woods and American Made.

inning all of them himself, too, could go a long way to building Bo Dallas up for something bigger down the line after a loss to Xavier Woods. That loss and a dominant bit of booking at Survivor Series would help set him up for the extensive, WrestleMania-worthy program that fans are still anticipating.

Royal Rumble: The 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble

Royal Rumble is the first stop on the Road to WrestleMania. While this is not about predicting every PLE for Uncle Howdy until WrestleMania, this show will likely set up his big match. Many of that weekend’s matches are teased on this show, allowing for a few months to build up the rivalries.

It is a little early to predict who will win next year’s event, but it’s safe to assume that The Wyatt Sicks will have some involvement. Uncle Howdy will make his presence felt in the Rumble, but not as an active participant. Instead, Dexter Lumis will get the spot. He will get an elimination or two while really being an in-ring aggressor after entering midway through.

Shortly after, though, Braun Strowman enters the fray and tosses him out with ease.

Braun’s Rumble run will be short-lived. After Lumis hits ringside, the lights will black out in Uncle Howdy’s signature style. Spotlights will show Gacy and Lumis back on the ring apron. Braun backs up only to learn that Erik Rowan is behind him. They stare one another down, and Uncle Howdy walks out to the ring. Braun calls for Howdy to get in the ring, and he does.

But then Rowan grabs the monster among men and tosses him out of the match. The lights go black, and when they return, the group is gone, and the announcer declares that Braun Strowman has been eliminated.

An increasingly aggressive Uncle Howdy will have ignited the Wyatt Family War in less than five minutes, establishing that he is no longer a face or heel. Instead, he is pain and vengeance personified.

Early Call for predicting every PLE for Uncle Howdy through the Royal Rumble and Beyond

After the Royal Rumble, WWE can start the dream feud against Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman. The touching tributes and emotional performances have all relied on Bray Wyatt, the man. His real life and, of course, his tragic passing are entirely baked into the characters.

Bo Dallas and Nikki Cross need to feud with Bliss and Strowman at WrestleMania 41 to capitalize on that. They need to connect the various threads of the Wyatt story that they have evoked through their callouts.

Then, the faction can move on, and it will move on. While Dallas and Rowan have personal and televised connections to Bray, the remainder of the group does not. Telling their stories, too, will become the focus the further away we get from their bloody debut.

For now, though, Uncle Howdy should continue to honor his brother by playing through some of his history as an anti-hero until the darkness that plagued his brother gets released once again.
