WWE Raw after WrestleMania is one of the most anticipated shows of the year. After a WrestleMania 40 two-night extravaganza that gave fans a lot to enjoy, they can expect WWE Raw to deliver as well.

WWE Raw airs live from the Wells Fargo Center, in Philadelphia at 7CT/8ET on the USA Network. More than 18,000 fans are expected at the Wells Fargo, making it the highest attended WWE Raw since 2012.

Here, we preview WWE Raw after WrestleMania.

WWE Raw After WrestleMania Match Card

There are no matches announced for WWE Raw yet. We can expect to find out the match card at the top of the show. But a lot of time will need to be saved for new champions to cut celebratory promos.

New Era, New Story

WWE mentioned a ‘new era’ a lot across WrestleMania 40 weekend. It backed up this claim of a fresh era by giving fans a slew of new champions.

Cody Rhodes finished his story and the reign of Roman Reigns. The new Undisputed WWE Champion will appear and set out what his story as champion will look like. He’s been undesirable, then undeniable but now he’s undisputed.

This could be Rhodes’s last appearance on WWE Raw for a while. WWE SmackDown is where he should focus his time to allow another new champion to succeed at the top of WWE Raw.

New World Heavyweight Champion

If Rhodes was the shock most fans wanted, Damian Priest cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the World Heavyweight Championship was the shock nobody saw coming. What made it more shocking was the cash in came seconds after Drew McIntyre had won the championship from Seth Rollins.

The Judgement Day now hold both the men’s and women’s World Heavyweight championships. So a dominant celebration by the faction is likely inside the Wells Fargo Center.

We can expect these three to feud over the championship as the top storyline on WWE Raw moving forward.  Perhaps with CM Punk in the mix. If Priest is to succeed as champion it needs to be treated as the top title on WWE Raw.

Two More New Champions on WWE Raw After WrestleMania

Gunther lost his Intercontinental Championship after a record 666 days. Sami Zayn is the man who now carries the gold. He’s the most likely of our new champs to be in action.

The Miz and R-Truth are now the Raw WWE Tag Teams Champions. Having the experienced duo hold the gold should help develop some younger teams on the Raw roster and help them develop. It is likely that we could see a few of these teams emerge as immediate contenders to The Miz & R-Truth.
