News From the Show
Guest Appearances in the I Quit Match
A big stipulation in the “I Quit” match between Ethan Page and Tony Nese was that Mark Steerling was to be handcuffed to the ring post. He attempted to get out of this stipulation just before the match was set to begin. That was when Mark Henry made his way to the ring to be an enforcer. After Steerling was handcuffed to the post, Henry headed to the back. Partway through the match, Tony Nese retrieved the key from Bobby Cruise and freed Steerling. As a two-on-one beatdown took place, former tag team partner of Page, Scorpio Sky made his way ringside to even up the odds.
Kyle Fletcher Wins Survival of the Fittest, Crowned World Television Champion
Kyle Fletcher last pinned Komander in the Survival of the Fittest elimination match, winning the tournament, and the vacant ROH World Television Championship. The belt was vacated by former champion Samoa Joe, who vacated the belt to pursue MJF and the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
